ABOUT LEON KEW

Leon Kew has dedicated his career to the sports and training market - with ten years experience working as a coach and trainer Leon brings a wealth of knowledge and positive energy to the fitness industry. Leon have worked as a personal trainer and strength coach with many different clients including athletes, celebrities and professionals. Leon offers a range of services from one-to-one coaching, boxing specific training and group based training. Leon's approach uses the vehicle of training and fitness to help clients improve their physical and mental well being to become more successful at what they do. Leon trains clients at two locations in the city of London and his work has been featured in GQ Magazine.

In Leon's early years he played development football at one of England’s top football academies and worked for a number of years mentoring young football players around London. Leon is a qualified TFW level 1 coach. Leon is currently studying with the UKSCA to become a full accredited strength and conditioning coach and and will complete his TFW level 2 later in the year. Leon's training style is focused on getting people stronger and faster. He likes to use concepts of traditional Olympic lifting and resistance training to help people build muscle, lose body fat and feel great about themselves.

PERSONAL TRAINING

Whether your goal is to de-stress, build some lean muscle, get strong or lose some body fat Leon will create a bespoke plan to help set you on the way to achieving your goals.

BOXING TRAINING

One of Leon Kew's passions is Boxing. It demands unbelievable conditioning levels and mental toughness. One-to-one combat is known to be one of the most difficult athletic pursuits.

Boxing training strengthens the musculoskeletal system, demands extremely high levels of aerobic and anaerobic fitness and improves mental toughness. The majority of sessions will work on two to three minute rounds at about 80-85% of your maximum heart rate - building your lactate threshold with short recovery in between rounds and intervals.

GROUP TRAINING

Group sessions are a great way to get fired up and motivated to train. Sessions combine a mixture of hard cardio and strength work, effectively helping the body to burn body fat and build lean muscle.

A typical group session will be organised into a circuit to target different parts of the body and also hit different energy systems. Consistency is key to achieving results and getting the body you want so if you are on a budget but want to fit in two to three sessions a week with a trainer then group training is the answer.
